Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 days on - 4 days off shift pattern, alternating between 4 day shifts, 6 am – 6 pm, and 4 night shifts, 6 pm – 6 am.

This role reports to the QA Manager. The role is primarily based in the production/warehouse areas within a modern food manufacturing environment. You may be required to work in other areas of the business from time to time.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. If you’re enthusiastic about manufacturing and supplying quality nutrition, this role is for you!

Responsible for ensuring all products & product quality/food safety processes comply with specified requirements. Supporting the QA Manager to deliver continuous improvement and promote best practices across the site to ensure a right first-time approach to quality. You will control and drive internal product safety and quality records, keeping all parties informed and maintaining process control.

The role is primarily based in the production/warehouse areas, but you may work in other areas of the business as needed.

  • Maintain product integrity and ensure compliance with safety, authenticity, and legal standards.

  • Strive for the highest quality standards in products, people, and plant.

  • Ensure effective communication to promote teamwork and aligned efforts.

Planning & Control

  • Maintain structured approaches to deliver site strategies and business targets, continuously seeking improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food industry, especially within Quality/Technical departments.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene
  • HACCP qualification or experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (preferred)
  • Desirable: SAP knowledge, BRCGS experience, internal auditing, risk assessment
  • Attention to detail, teamwork, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
