We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for developing and maintaining our QA program, fostering a culture of quality and compliance, and ensuring high standards of product quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret, develop, and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
2. Manage customer complaints and nonconformance records, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
3. Document QA activities, including reporting and metrics.
4. Identify and implement process improvements across the organization.
5. Determine training needs and promote company-wide compliance.
6. Engage in continuing education on new technologies and solutions.
7. Investigate customer complaints using RCA tools and implement corrective actions.
8. Assist sales in resolving customer concerns swiftly.
9. Analyze and present data and metrics for management reviews.
10. Continuously seek process improvements.
11. Update and maintain QA procedures and documentation.
12. Develop standard work protocols and promote visual management techniques.
13. Coordinate with all departments to ensure understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
14. Design and deliver QA training programs.
15. Support internal and external audits.
16. Assist and cover for other QA team members as needed, including activities related to compliance, H&S, and sustainability.

Qualifications

1. 4-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
2. Knowledge of ISO9001, quality tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma), and terminology.
3. Experience with Root Cause Analysis techniques (5Y, 8D).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
6. Experience in procedure development.
7. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
8. Preferred: experience in chemical, aviation, automotive, or medical industries, ERP software, REACH regulations, H&S qualifications, and sustainability initiatives.
