Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Limited is seeking Process Checkers/QC to join our Bromborough site. The role covers performing production checks, guarding product integrity, and ensuring compliance with specifications.

Working hours are 5 out of 6 days, Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 15:30. You will conduct gas checks, weight, metal detector checks, labeling accuracy, ingredient conformity, and on-line quality controls, in collaboration with the line leader to address any out-of-spec products.

Responsibilities

• conduct all the production checks (gas checks, average weight, metal detector, finish product integrity, product and OCM labelling, ACS conformance)
• ensure fat levels within mince products are within specification
• ensure product complies with one-page specifications
• work with the line leader to correct out of specification products
• check labels for accuracy against specification and product, including double checks
• validate that the ingredients being added to products on value-added lines are meeting the requirements
• conduct all checks on the lines assigned to you to ensure quality compliance for all customers and work with production to complete plans/orders
