Here at 2 Sisters Food Group, we are proud to be counted amongst the nation's key workers with our relentless work helping to feed Great Britain. We currently have exciting opportunities for a Quality Assurance PM to join the team in West Bromwich.

The hours of work and shift patterns are:

  • Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00

The rate of pay is: £12.67 per hour

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out verification of the Food Safety & Quality Management (FSQMS) and HACCP systems to meet 2 Sisters Food Group, 2nd and 3rd party requirements & standards to maintain certifications & approvals.
  • Ensure adherence to production specifications within the factory and identify, action, and escalate deviations where necessary.
  • Conduct microbiological and chemical sampling of surfaces and products as required.
  • Participate during factory trials of new products.
  • Audit the factory and processes for compliance with technical and quality policies and procedures; take action when non-compliance is found.
  • Assist during customer and third-party visits and audits, demonstrating QA tasks as needed.
  • Investigate complaints to identify root causes and monitor corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage non-conforming stock, placing it on hold and coordinating with relevant parties for release.
  • Ensure accurate and timely printing and issuance of labels according to company procedures.
  • Communicate and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Participate in site projects, ensuring food safety and quality requirements are incorporated and maintained.
  • Represent the site during third-party audits, regulatory inspections, and customer visits related to food safety and quality systems.
  • Support continuous improvement of FSQMS, quality, operational activities, and customer standards.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualifications (preferred but not essential):
    • Level 3 Food Safety
    • Level 3 HACCP
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years in a Food Manufacturing environment
    • Previous QA experience essential
    • Experience managing and developing a team
    • Knowledge of cleaning practices
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and attention to detail, influencing skills at all levels
    • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Professional communication with customers, auditors, and colleagues
    • Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively
    • Self-motivated, resilient, and problem-solving skills
Package Description:

Immediate start available.
Hours: 36.25 per week.
Pay: £12.67/hour.
Overtime opportunities available.
