Job summary

Taiko is seeking a Quality Manager to uphold top quality, safety and compliance across operations at Acton. You will lead audits, manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement in line with BRCGS and customer requirements.

Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll manage pest control, provide training for new starters and ensure timely root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS and customer standards.
• Developing and maintaining auditing programs (GMP, glass, wood and other audits).
• Conduct daily QA checks and manage technical documentation.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances and complaints.

Salary: £46,350 + £2,100 night shift allowance

As an experienced Quality Manager, you are driven by a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all operational areas. With a solid background in BRCGS and customer-specific standards, you ensure that the company's products meet both regulatory and customer expectations consistently.

You possess expertise in developing and maintaining robust auditing programs, including GMP, glass, wood, and physical audits, as well as conducting daily quality assurance checks and managing technical documentation. Your role is pivotal in managing internal audits, handling non-conformances, and overseeing the root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints, ensuring that each issue is addressed promptly and effectively.

Your strong communication skills and collaborative approach enable you to work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing support and guidance to customer-facing teams. You're also the main point of contact for pest control and chemical suppliers, ensuring compliance and safety in every aspect of the operation.
