Quality Assurance Manager

Galldris Group

Location: Sizewell, Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Sizewell Team. To be considered, you should have a background in Construction or Civil Engineering.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance process, ensuring that projects are handed over with accurate records, within the agreed timescales, and meeting quality standards. This role should be read in conjunction with the Galldris Services Ltd Safety Management System.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Support the operational team with accurate record keeping and document control.
  2. Manage ITPs with engineering teams and subcontractors.
  3. Support design coordinators and design managers in their duties.
  4. Track equipment and update equipment registers.
  5. Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
  6. Ensure project adherence to Galldris quality procedures.
  7. Support engineering teams and subcontractors with NCR processes.
  8. Manage project handover documentation, including tracking, collating, and supporting handover files and O&Ms.
  9. Be aware of environmental issues, policies, and objectives within the construction environment.
  10. Be aware of occupational health and safety issues and adhere to relevant policies and objectives.
  11. Undertake other duties relevant to the position.
  12. Comply with company policies and procedures.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Good understanding of plant operations.
  • Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering is essential.

Skills:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of workflow processes.
  • Commitment to materials logistics.
  • Ability to work proactively when outside influences affect planned operations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • CSCS Card.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • TWC certification is preferable.
