Humdinger, Heckington

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to take the lead for all aspects of quality management within our nut snacking factory. The QA Manager will provide quality management & leadership to team members across all departments providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice to deliver line, area & site objectives.

Position type: Full time, permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600

Closing Date: Friday 2nd January 2025

  • Ensure compliance with BRC and major retailer standards
  • Support the Technical Manager in managing and developing a team including Quality, Hygiene, and Technical staff
  • Support and manage allergen management, product testing, and audit readiness
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
  • Keep the Quality Management System (QMS) up to date and compliant and update and maintain hygiene and factory documentation.
  • Support the Technical Manager to manage budgets and plan resources to meet financial targets.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Drive a culture of best practice, innovation, and operational excellence
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory compliance
  • Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety qualifications
  • Experience working with UK major retailers (e.g., Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s)
  • A collaborative, resilient leader with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Auditing & CI tools / techniques
