Job summary

We’re currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a flagship construction scheme on a major project in Cardiff. You will lead the project quality strategy, ensuring works meet project requirements, drawings and industry standards from construction through to completion.

You’ll guide delivery teams, manage the Quality Management Plan, inspections, ITPs and quality records, and address defects and non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager within construction or build.
• Experience working for, or closely with, a Tier 1 main contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction quality management, inspection, and assurance processes.
• Practical experience using Dalux or similar (FieldView or Procure).
• Experience managing quality on large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant construction/quality qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

We’re currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a flagship construction scheme.

This is a key role within a high-profile project, working alongside an established project team and taking responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout delivery.

The Role

As Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and driving the project’s quality strategy, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements, specifications, drawings and relevant industry standards.

You’ll work closely with the project management, engineering and delivery teams, providing guidance and leadership on all quality-related matters from construction through to completion.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in construction quality management, ideally gained within a Tier 1 contractor environment.

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager within the construction or build industry.
• Experience working for, or closely alongside, a Tier 1 main contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction quality management, inspection and assurance processes.
• Practical experience using Dalux is essential or similar including FieldView or Procure.
• Experience managing quality across a large-scale or complex construction project.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant construction/quality qualifications are desirable.
