Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company situated near Belfast who are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join the team.

This role will provide Quality / Product Assurance to an approved product portfolio and introduction of new product (NPI), delivering cost-effective, efficient solutions to meet customer requirements and business objectives.

As the successful Quality Assurance Manager, you will drive operational/manufacturing excellence, delivering exceptional standard governance including root cause analysis, defect analysis, process improvement, preventative action and process management activities.

You will manage a team of experienced Quality/Technical Engineers, overseeing internal/external auditing to appropriate standards. You will attend project meetings, reviews and events providing consistent QA expertise and advice.

Criteria:

• 5 years+ experience in a quality role within the manufacturing industry, preferably a large-scale assembly environment.
• Detailed knowledge of current quality and related working practices and standards.
• Qualified auditor or similar experience.
• Experience of investigating root cause and corrective actions.
• Good communicator with strong influencing and persuasion skills.
• Strong disciplined approach to work.
• Ability to plan and organise workload to achieve deadlines in line with budgets.
• Excellent decision and problem-solving skills, using quality tools such as 5 Why and 8D.

Salary on offer is in the region of £50-60k + benefits.
