Job summary

SSE plc in the UK seeks a Quality Advisor within Large Capital Project Services. The role ensures project compliance with SSE governance and supports the QMS development to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will lead internal and supplier audits, drive quality improvement, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. A full driving licence and some travel are required for this permanent, full-time role with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Chartered Quality Professional (CQP MCQI) desirable.
• Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001 with audit experience (internal and supplier).
• Understanding of SSE’s Transmission business and knowledge of construction/engineering activities.
• Ability to implement and use company standard management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects use SSE governance framework and standard processes.
• Support development and management of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assess product specs and requirements to ensure compliance with standards.
• Define processes with project staff and drive comprehensive procedures.
• Provide QA expertise in development and delivery of projects.
