Job summary

SSE PLC is seeking a Quality Advisor within Large Capital Project Services. The role focuses on ensuring project compliance with SSE processes, and developing the Quality Management System to support delivery to high standards.

A Chartered Quality Professional with MCQI and Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable, with driving licence and travel flexibility required. The position offers permanent, full-time work with base locations in Aberdeen, Perth, Inverness, and Glasgow, plus a car or

Qualifications

• Chartered Quality Professional with MCQI ideal.
• Lead Auditor ISO 9001 with internal and supplier audits.
• Understanding of SSE's Transmission and construction activities.
• Ability to implement company management systems.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Full, current driving licence; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all projects within the business unit operate in accordance with SSE's systems and project processes, including the Large Capital Project Services Governance Framework.
• Supporting the development, management and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and establishing systems and procedures which ensure consistent project development and delivery to the required standards.
• Assessing the product specifications and project requirements while ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
• Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with project staff and bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to formulate and agree comprehensive business procedures.
• Providing support and expertise in quality assurance within development and delivery of projects.
