Job summary

New England Seafood International in Grimsby is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the site Quality team and oversee the implementation and delivery of the quality management system, food safety obligations and legality across production.

You will report to the Technical Manager, deputise when required, drive continuous improvement, audits, and customer compliance, and collaborate with Operations to maintain high standards of safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop Quality Supervisors to ensure food safety, quality and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to BRCGS Food Safety Standards and legal requirements.
• Drive audit readiness and customer compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach the Quality team to deliver food safety and quality standards.
• Oversee HACCP, risk management and technical governance across the site.
• Support audits, customer standards and supplier quality activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, KPI monitoring and root cause analysis.
