Job summary

New England Seafood International in Grimsby is seeking a Quality Technician / Supervisor (Lead) to manage daily QA activities within a designated production area. You will ensure procedures are followed, audits are completed, and non-conformances are effectively closed, acting as the link between factory operations and the Area Quality Manager.

You will maintain a strong factory floor presence, drive HACCP/TACCP actions, monitor CCPs and KPIs, and support area improvements to ensure all product

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of food safety and GMP in a production environment.
• Experience auditing and implementing HACCP and food safety initiatives.
• Ability to investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions using RCA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong factory floor presence to verify processes and CCPs.
• Lead internal audits, risk assessments, and non-conformance close-out.
• Monitor CCPs, OPRPs and KPIs, and escalate issues with improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure daily product exits meet specs.
• Coach and develop Production Operatives on quality processes and behaviours.
• Support NPD/EPD activities and area improvement projects.
