Job summary

HS2 Ltd is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality across HS2 delivery teams and the supply-chain, ensuring a right-first-time ethos for safe, compliant project delivery. The role requires monitoring standards, conducting audits, and advising teams on quality improvements.

You will foster continuous improvement, train teams on HS2 quality requirements, and support supplier quality performance while promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in engineering or construction-related subject.
• IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of audit and assurance processes and 3 lines of defence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supply-chain compliance against standards (e.g. WI 600, ISO 9001).
• Advise project teams on quality matters with clear reporting.
• Conduct quality audits of the supply-chain with risk-based planning.
• Identify trends from non-conformances and implement root causes/preventative actions.
• Lead the Get it Right Initiative to measure cost of poor quality.
• Promote knowledge sharing on quality across teams and with suppliers.
