Job summary

Yorkshire Water in Leeds seeks a Quality and Assurance Manager to join the Asset Delivery PMO Team and help deliver a multi-billion-pound capital programme. Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in PMO, governance, or quality management.
• Experience delivering governance and assurance in large investment programmes.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of project, programme, and portfolio management.
• Experience developing quality management systems and governance frameworks.
• Strong assurance methodologies, audit processes, control environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex information to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the Programme Delivery end-to-end lifecycle, develop and improve the Asset Delivery Way.
• Maintain and enhance the PMO Quality Management System and monitor compliance.
• Lead the PMO's independent second-line assurance across programmes and projects.
• Develop risk-based assurance plans covering governance and delivery readiness.
• Lead governance supporting investment decisions across the capital programme.
• Lead the programme support and administration teams delivering core PMO services.
• Ensure effective management of project documentation and records.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Act as trusted advisor to Head of PMO and Asset Delivery leadership.
• Build relationships to drive adoption of standards and governance expectations.
