Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will support the Head of Practice Learning and Principal Social Worker in coordinating quality and performance reviews across Early Help and Children’s Social Care for the Royal London Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Richmond. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing the core auditing programme
  2. Conducting deep dives and tabletop reviews
  3. Collaborating with the intelligence service to identify patterns and themes in practice

This role emphasizes placing the child at the center of practice, championing the voice of children and families through feedback mechanisms to assess the impact of interventions on outcomes. The successful candidate will report to the Principal Social Worker.

About You

To excel in this role, you should be passionate about making a positive difference to children and young people and possess:

  • A degree in social work, registered with Social Work England, with ongoing professional development
  • Coaching, mentoring, or training experience
  • Management experience in children's social care (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, statutory frameworks, and policies related to children and families
  • Experience in conducting audits and using findings to improve practice
  • Skills in developing and implementing quality assurance systems
  • Ability to analyze complex information and promote best practices
  • Strong report writing, IT, and analytical skills
  • Experience using feedback to enhance services and influence practice
