Job summary
The Isle of Wight College is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Coordinator to drive continuous improvement across our FE, HE and apprenticeship provision. You will coordinate QA activities, guide staff with training, and work with awarding bodies to ensure compliance.
You will monitor quality risks, audits and external QA activity, turning evidence and data into practical recommendations for college-wide enhancements. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Assessor/Verifier qualification or willingness to achieve within 3 years.
- Maths and English Level 2 or willingness to complete within 18 months of joining the college.
- Good knowledge of FE, HE and apprenticeships.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate quality assurance and improvement activity
- Support colleagues through guidance, coaching and training
- Work closely with awarding organisations and external partners
- Monitor quality risks, audits and external quality assurance activity
- Turn evidence and data into clear recommendations for improvement
