Job summary

The Colleges Partnership is seeking a Quality & Curriculum Manager to lead quality assurance, curriculum standards and performance improvement across our apprenticeship programmes. You will manage the IQA and delivery teams, ensuring curricula are well designed, sequenced and aligned with Ofsted-ready requirements.

You’ll collaborate with delivery managers, subject specialists and stakeholders to raise learner outcomes and ensure compliance with funding rules and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Recognised assessor and IQA qualifications or equivalent.
• Teaching qualification at Level 4 or above.
• Proven track record in apprenticeship curriculum management.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection requirements for FE and skills.
• Understanding of funding regulations (DfE/DWP) for apprenticeships.
• Experience monitoring quality and improving apprenticeship delivery.
• Proficient use of technology to support delivery; solid MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and review of apprenticeship curricula.
• Map curricula to standards, assessment plans, qualifications and employer needs.
• Drive operational quality assurance across provision and teaching standards.
• Use data on achievement, retention and progression to guide improvements.
• Manage IQA and delivery teams, providing targeted support.
• Ensure readiness for Ofsted, awarding organisations and funding audits.
• Lead observation of teaching and contribute to SAR, QIP and quality cycles.
• Report curriculum quality, learner progress and risk to the Director of Quality.
