Job summary

Watney College in London is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to maintain the quality calendar, coordinate reviews and reporting deadlines, and support the Quality Plan and improvement actions.

You will analyse student feedback, monitor assessment processes, prepare reports for committees, and ensure policies and course information remain accurate and compliant with OfS requirements. Strong data analysis and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance within UK education or training.
• Experience coordinating reviews, evidence and improvement actions.
• Understanding of academic quality and external requirements.
• Ability to analyse data and produce clear reports.
• Strong organisation, communication and follow-up skills.
• Confidence raising concerns and working across teams.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and digital record systems.
• Knowledge of the OfS regulatory framework.
• Experience working with awarding bodies, university partners or external reviewers.
• Experience supporting academic committees and student feedback processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality calendar and coordinate reviews and reporting deadlines.
• Support the Quality Plan, self-assessment and improvement plans.
• Track actions, check completion evidence and escalate outstanding concerns.
• Analyse attendance, retention, achievement, progression and student feedback.
• Check that policies, handbooks and course information are accurate and current.
• Monitor completion of assessment and IQA processes through reports from responsible staff.
• Coordinate evidence for awarding-body reviews and regulatory assessments.
• Prepare reports and committee papers for the Head of Quality Assurance.
• Track improvements arising from complaints, appeals and external reviews.
• Support staff briefings on quality procedures.
• Maintain secure, organised and version-controlled records.
