ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a Race Engineering Student Placement based in Enstone. You will support the track operations from our Race Ops facility, collaborating with race and performance engineering, race strategy, competitor analysis, and vehicle performance.

We are a high-performance Formula One Team driven by innovation, precision, and passion. Our Racing departmentis responsible fordelivering the maximum on track performance; this covers a wide array of disciplines ranging from vehicle performance, race strategy,analyticsand human performance.
As a Race EngineeringStudent Placementproviding support to the track from our Race Ops facility in Enstone,you’llbe immersed in the heart of Alpine’s operation.You’llwork closely with multiple groups, race and performance engineering, race strategy, competitoranalysisand vehicle performance.
Event preparation, collating relevant past data and pre-event simulation
Provide analysis during race weekends, both real-time in session support and post session
Assistin post event reporting ranging from strategy and pitstops to competitor analysis
Assistin developing our current tools and processes, plus contribute to future tool ideas
Currently studying a degree in; Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Motorsport Engineering, Data Science or Analytics and looking for an industry placement as your penultimate year of university
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiencyin tools like Excel, Python, MATLAB, or similar
Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly
Passion for motorsport and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September
