Quality Assurance Engineer – Medical Devices (ML-NC-TW002948) Birmingham, England

Salary: Negotiable

Position Overview

Newton Colmore is collaborating with a medical devices company in the West Midlands to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer on a contract basis. This key role within the organization is expected to last around six months. While remote work is permitted, occasional onsite presence will be required.

Responsibilities

1. Manage document control, supplier processes, translation, and registration procedures.
2. Collaborate closely with the head of the team, senior quality engineer, and design team to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
3. Identify and implement process improvements in QARA activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in the medical devices industry, with significant exposure to electronic document management systems and QMS.
• Knowledge of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 is advantageous.
• Ideal for candidates who enjoy working in small teams and have a limited company setup for contracting.
