Senior QA Software Engineer | Development, Testing & Data | London

Join a leading financial software and hardware vendor as a QA Software Engineer. This role offers a fantastic career opportunity within a dynamic, small to medium-sized Fintech business. Open to candidates at all experience levels, the successful applicant will work with an experienced team, developing skills in technical roles and interacting with global clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, define, and implement test cases to ensure comprehensive testing of our products.
2. Become an expert in low-latency, high-performance software and hardware products.
3. Provide expert usage and technical support for our products to a specialized client base.
4. Contribute to pre-sales technical support.
5. Develop automated test tools and continually improve the quality of releases across the company’s technical portfolio.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Linux command-line.
• Motivated and eager to learn.
• Experience in C++ programming and scripting languages, ideally Python.
• Experience in QA and automation.
• Experience in Market Data.
• Understanding of networking concepts, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Git or similar SCM tools.
• Knowledge of financial trading infrastructures and applications.
