Job summary

Valeo Foods UK in Heanor is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to safeguard food safety and quality across our QA and operations teams. You will be the shift contact for all quality issues and help drive continuous improvement and compliance with customer policies and GMP standards.

The role requires 2 years in QA/production, with Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 qualifications. Join our passionate team and contribute to the quality culture across beloved brands.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience within a QA/production environment.
• Experience in FMCG or similar environment.
• HACCP Level 2 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.

Responsibilities

• You will be the point of contact during shift for all Quality issues.
• Work as part of the QA team to ensure effective management of food safety and quality.
• Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.
• Incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations.
• Handle customer interactions, audits, and complaints effectively and with professionalism.
• Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Food Safety Level 3
• Experience in FMCG or similar environment
• HACCP Level 2 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.

• Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance.

Additional Information
