Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to join the QA team in Heanor (home of Matthew Walker) and champion food safety and quality across operations.

The role requires 2 years of QA/production experience, Food Safety Level 3, HACCP Level 2, and familiarity with retailer quality systems. You’ll support incident management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 2 years' experience within a QA/production environment.
• Continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Organisational skills and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of the QA team to ensure effective management of food safety and quality.
• Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.
• Incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations.
• Handle customer interactions, audits, and complaints effectively and with professionalism.
• Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.

Your Quest: You will be the point of contact during shift for all Quality issues

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

• Food Safety Level 3
• Experience in FMCG or similar environment
• HACCP Level 2qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.

• Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance.
