Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to champion food safety and quality within the QA and production teams at Heanor, the home of Matthew Walker.

You will act as shift contact for quality issues, ensure compliance with customer policies and GMP standards, and lead data-driven investigations to drive continuous improvement across production processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience within a QA/production environment.
• Food Safety Level 3.
• HACCP Level 2 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.

Your Quest:

You will be the point of contact during shift for all Quality issues

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the QA team to ensure effective management of food safety and quality.


• Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.


• Incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations.


• Handle customer interactions, audits, and complaints effectively and with professionalism.


• Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 3


• Experience in FMCG or similar environment


• HACCP Level 2 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.

Qualities We're Seeking:

• 2 years’ experience within a QA/production environment.


• Continuous improvement and problem solving.


• Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance.


• Organisational skills.


• Numeracy / data accuracy.


• Prioritising and decision making.
