A leading multinational consumer goods company based in Northfleet is seeking a Quality Assistant for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will collect and test samples for quality compliance, manage the Quality Management System, and support improvement initiatives. Ideal applicants are capable administrators comfortable in factory environments, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • Capable administrator with experience in quality systems.
  • Experience in a factory environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and test samples for compliance to specifications.
  • Provide up-to-the-minute information on quality testing issues.
  • Assist with the administration of the Quality Management System.

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Quality Assistant for a leading multinational consumer goods and personal care corporation client based in Northfleet Mill.

This is an initial 6 months contract position.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

  • To collect and test for statistical evaluation, base sheet and finished product samples, for compliance to the finished product specification.
  • Working in factory environment.
  • To validate correlation of Lab test equipment & satellite lab test equipment.
  • To provide the Mill quality analyst with ‘up to the minute’ information relating to quality testing issues
  • To provide ad hoc testing to support shift, day work, and product development teams.
  • Assist with Continual Improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Administration of Quality Management system relating to testing.
  • Administration of test equipment conformance, and certificates of schedules of calibration
  • To help develop a Quality culture within mill teams by providing a standard of excellence in quality related issues.

  • Capable administrator
