Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, inspirational professional registrant to undertake the role of Quality Outcomes Business Partner within the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (NWJCC), helping to oversee the quality and safety of care in our commissioned services. We are seeking an experienced professional, passionate about their profession, quality and governance to work with the Head of Quality in driving excellence in commissioning healthcare services in Wales. The successful post holder will provide leadership and direction to staff working within the NWJCC and specifically lead on quality and safety within a designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed the quality principles and enablers across the following commissioning groups: Ambulance and 111, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Vulnerable Groups, Specialised Services.
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff working within NWJCC and the Commissioning Teams within delegated portfolio.
  • Support the Head of Quality in the development and delivery of a quality service for Specialised Services, Ambulance Services and 111 and Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Vulnerable Groups commissioning.
Welsh Skills Desirable
  • Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or B1). Ability to hold simple conversations with patients.
