Descripción del empleo

Saffron Vantage is recruiting for a Quality & Operational Control Lead to take ownership of quality, claims management and operational controls within a busy warehouse environment in Tennessee.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or operational professional who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems and driving standards forward.

Acting as the onsite operational representative, you will play a key role in overseeing warehouse processes, investigating issues, managing returns and ensuring operational procedures are followed consistently.

This is a hands‑on operational position, not an administration role. We are looking for someone who is confident using their own initiative, has excellent attention to detail and is equally comfortable leading, investigating and stepping into the operation when required as an operational Superuser.

What You'll Be Doing
Operational Leadership & Quality Control
  • Act as the onsite operational lead and main point of contact for operational controls and quality standards.
  • Oversee warehouse processes, ensuring procedures are followed and operational standards are maintained.
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality control processes.
  • Carry out detailed product inspections, particularly during inbound operations.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Audit direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) personalisation processes to ensure products meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure inspection records and operational documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Support and train warehouse colleagues on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Step into the operational Superuser role when required, supporting systems, processes and day‑to‑day operational activities.
What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous Team Leader, Supervisory or operational leadership experience.
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, production or similar operational environment.
  • A background in quality control, quality assurance, claims investigation or operational problem‑solving.
  • The confidence to take ownership of issues and use their own initiative to find solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues thoroughly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to analyse information, identify trends and produce accurate reports.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets, warehouse management systems and operational reporting tools.
  • A good understanding of health and safety, quality standards and operational compliance.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to supporting, guiding and training colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and hands‑on, with the confidence to take responsibility and make decisions.

You will be someone who:

  • Can work independently and confidently use their own initiative.
  • Has previous experience leading or supporting a team.
  • Is comfortable challenging processes and identifying where improvements can be made.
  • Takes pride in accuracy, quality and getting things right first time.
  • Can investigate problems rather than simply report them.
  • Is happy to get involved in day‑to‑day warehouse operations when needed.
  • Can act as an operational Superuser and support colleagues with processes and systems.
What's On Offer?
  • Salary of up to £36,000 per annum.
  • Temp‑to‑permanent opportunity.
  • A key onsite position with responsibility and ownership.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to operational standards and performance.
  • A varied role combining operational leadership, quality control and continuous improvement.
