Position: Quality Analyst Consultant
Location: London, UK
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Frequency: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
- Perform source inspections.
- Participate in quality reviews and governance meetings with senior management (Directors).
- Plan and conduct FAI reviews.
- Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
- Lead and execute complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Develop corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
- Review and approve quality documentation (e.g., dropship forms).
- Manage RNC/VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval.
- Provide technical support and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
- Manage DMM in the absence of the leader.
- Participate in executive meetings and PMRs with suppliers.
- Train and coach suppliers on quality tools.
- Act as the Director’s delegate on quality matters and meetings.
- Contribute to defining strategic departmental plans as a mentor.
Requirements:
- Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102).
- Commodity experience in Completions.
- Knowledge of CMM inspection and interpreting inspection reports related to manufacturing.
- Understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Familiarity with inspection concepts, including use of CMM, comparators, micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers.
- Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensional properties against specifications.
- Knowledge of Discus (preferred).
- Experience with Net Inspect.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of GD&T.
- Minimum of 7 years of aerospace industry experience.
- Ability to propose innovative solutions and identify improvement opportunities.
- Capability to develop and deploy solutions for complex issues.
- Strategic communication skills and risk analysis proficiency.
- Ability to work independently as a role model.
- Experience in coaching and training team members.
