Position: Quality Analyst Consultant
Location: London, UK
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Frequency: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues
- Perform source inspections and invoke corrective actions
- Participate in quality reviews and governance meetings with senior management (Directors)
- Plan and conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) reviews
- Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance
- Lead and execute complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Define and implement corrective and improvement plans with suppliers
- Review and approve quality documentation (e.g., dropship forms)
- Manage RNC / VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval
- Provide technical support and coaching to team members and stakeholders
- Lead DMM activities during leadership absence
- Participate in executive meetings and supplier PMRs
- Train and coach suppliers on quality tools
- Represent the director on quality matters and at meetings
- Act as a mentor and contribute to defining departmental strategic plans
Requirements:
- Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
- Commodity experience in Completions
- Knowledge of CMM inspection and interpreting inspection reports related to manufacturing
- Understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems and international standards
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with inspection concepts and practices, including use of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers
- Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties against specifications
- Knowledge of Discus and Net Inspect (preferred)
- Proficiency in GD&T
- Minimum of 7 years of aerospace quality experience
- Ability to propose innovative solutions, identify improvement opportunities, and manage complex issues
- Strong communication skills and strategic thinking
- Ability to work independently as a role model and coach
