We are currently seeking a Quality Analyst Consultant for a minimum 6-month contract based in Farnborough.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
- Perform source inspections and invoke corrective actions.
- Participate in quality reviews and governance meetings with senior management (Directors).
- Plan and conduct FAI reviews.
- Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
- Lead and execute complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Define corrective and improvement plans with suppliers.
- Review and approve quality documentation (e.g., dropship forms).
- Manage RNC/VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval.
- Provide technical support and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage DMM in the absence of the leader.
- Participate in executive meetings and PMRs with suppliers.
- Coach and train suppliers on our quality tools.
- Act as a delegate for the Director on quality matters and meetings.
- Serve as a mentor and contribute to defining the department's strategic plans.
Requirements:
- Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102).
- Background in Machined Parts.
- Knowledge of CMM inspection and ability to interpret inspection reports related to manufacturing requirements.
- Understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Familiarity with inspection concepts and practices, including use of CMM, comparators, micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers.
- Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties to ensure compliance.
- Knowledge of Discus and Net Inspect systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of GD&T principles.
- Minimum of 7+ years experience in aerospace quality.

- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and enhance team efficiency.
- Capability to develop and deploy complex solutions and communicate strategies effectively.
- Perform risk analyses for complex issues.
