Job summary

Globalreach Integrated Services is seeking a skilled Quality Advisor to support major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and renewable energy projects across the UK. The role emphasizes on-site engagement with project teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

You will audit, review documentation, and support non-conformity resolutions while fostering a culture of right-first-time delivery and quality ownership across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 compliant QMS.
• Proven ability to inspect, audit and review quality records and documentation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and corrective action implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews across renewables and BESS projects.
• Review ITPs, quality plans and project records to ensure quality and traceability.
• Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and lessons learned.
• Assist with supplier and subcontractor QA activities.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare management reports.
• Provide coaching and awareness training on quality requirements.

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading infrastructure and engineering organisation, is seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to support the delivery of major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring quality excellence across innovative renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects. Working closely with operational teams, clients, contractors, and project stakeholders, you will support the successful implementation of quality management systems while driving continuous improvement and right-first-time delivery.

The role will suit a quality professional who enjoys working on site, engaging with project teams, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance assessments across renewable energy and BESS projects.
• Review and monitor project quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality plans, and project records.
• Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis investigations and lessons-learned initiatives.
• Support project teams in meeting contractual quality requirements and client expectations.
• Assist with supplier and subcontractor quality assurance activities.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and prepare reports for project and senior management teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality ownership, and operational excellence.
• Support client audits, certification audits, and external quality assessments.
• Deliver quality-related coaching, guidance, and awareness training to operational teams.
• Ensure effective document control and record management practices are maintained.

Minimum Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience in a Quality Advisor, Quality Assurance, Quality Coordinator, or similar quality-focused role.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Proven ability to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and reporting ability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project environments.
• Experience using quality management systems and associated software.
• Full UK Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK.
