Job summary

Shirley Parsons are recruiting on behalf of a growing UK infrastructure and civil engineering contractor delivering highways, utilities, water and wastewater projects. They are seeking a Quality Manager with a civil engineering background to join the construction division.

You will oversee quality assurance across multiple projects, support audits, review quality documentation, implement Quality Plans and ITPs, and drive non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement with site teams.

Our client is a growing UK infrastructure and civil engineering contractor delivering projects within the highways, utilities, water and wastewater sectors. They are looking for a Quality Manager with a civil engineering background to join the construction division of the business.

You'll work closely with operational teams across multiple projects, helping to ensure quality requirements are understood, implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle while supporting a culture of right-first-time delivery.

Your Day-to-Day

You'll support quality assurance activities across a portfolio of construction projects, providing practical guidance to site teams and helping to ensure compliance with company, client and project requirements. You'll assist with audits, review quality documentation, support the implementation of Quality Plans and ITPs, and help investigate non-conformances and corrective actions.

You'll also engage regularly with project teams and supply chain partners, monitor project quality performance, support handover activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Working primarily within ISO 9001, you’ll play an important role in promoting best practice and strengthening quality standards across the business.
