Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an enthusiastic Analytical Scientist with expertise in mass spectrometry for a client site in Macclesfield. You will perform structural elucidation and impurity profiling of small molecule APIs, applying advanced MS techniques to understand low-level impurities and complex drugs.

You will contribute to expanding Eurofins’ MS capabilities, collaborating with project analysts and cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with GLP and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mass Spectrometry or BSc in Chemistry with relevant MS experience in pharma/analytical settings.
• Strong understanding of MS instrumentation and regulatory environments (cGMP, GLP).
• Proactive, innovative approach with ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural elucidation and impurity characterisation of small molecule APIs.
• Apply advanced MS techniques to investigate low level impurities and complex molecules.
