Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in analytical testing services. The Analytical Scientist role involves routine and non-routine testing of pharmaceutical products with emphasis on HPLC, Dissolution and Karl Fischer methods.

You will support technology transfers and analytical development while ensuring GMP-compliant data and documentation. Based in the Liverpool area, you will work with ELNs and LIMS, coordinating with client teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related discipline; GMP experience considered in lieu.
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and modern techniques, esp. HPLC, UV.
• Pharmaceutical testing lab experience (solid dose) preferred; GMP environment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, non-routine and stability testing on finished pharmaceutical products.
• Analyse using HPLC, Dissolution, Karl Fischer and UV; review GMP-compliance data.
• Support technology transfers and analytical development/validation activities.
• Document data per client policies and prepare results for testing.
• Maintain productivity and support audits, method revisions and QC testing.
