Job summary

Halesowen Motor House Limited is looking for a skilled Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our busy aftersales team in the UK. You will work on Hyundai vehicles with the latest diagnostic equipment and receive ongoing Hyundai manufacturer training.

This role offers an uncapped bonus, a realistic OTE around £40k+, a friendly team, and clear career development within a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Franchised dealership or independent garage experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation work (MOT Tester qualification desirable).
• Carry out warranty repairs per brand procedures.
• Complete Vehicle Health Checks and identify additional work.
• Record all work in the dealership management system.
• Maintain safety, efficiency and high workmanship standard.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department for customer satisfaction.

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm/7:30 – 16:00
• Saturday: 1 in 4 on a rota

The Role

As a Qualified Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards while maintaining efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation work (MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential).
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with brand procedures.
• Complete Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) and identify additional work where required.
• Record all work accurately using the dealership management system.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership or independent garage.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience using Keyloop/Autoline.
