Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group in Erdington is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. You will service, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role offers manufacturer training, a transparent bonus structure, and a 42.5-hour week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 basic, with an OTE around £42,000 plus overtime and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record work completed and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service

About the Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and on time.
