Job summary

Academics is seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Prenton and across the Wirral. Working with EYFS to KS2, you will support pupils with learning, small groups and individuals.

You’ll join a friendly team, contribute to safeguarding, and enjoy flexible day-to-day supply or short-term placements with competitive pay (£95-£105 per day).

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
• Previous experience in a primary school.
• Passion for working with children.
• Confidence adapting to different classrooms.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Working with individuals and small groups.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Helping with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.
