Job summary

Academics is recruiting qualified Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas. You will help pupils in reading, phonics and classroom activities, and work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to boost confidence and learning.

We value reliable, enthusiastic TAs who can make a positive impact from day one, including 1:1 and small-group support, with SEND and additional needs when required.

Qualifications

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
Previous experience within a primary school.

Responsibilities

Reading, phonics and classroom activities.
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
1:1 and small-group interventions.
Pupils with SEND and additional needs.
Working alongside class teachers and support staff.
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
