Job summary

Academics is recruiting for a friendly EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port. You will support children in Nursery and Reception, focusing on safe, exploratory learning and developing independence through play.

The role is full-time and temporary with the potential to become long-term. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities and support both individuals and small groups.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience working with EYFS-aged children.

• Good communication and teamwork, with safeguarding knowledge.

• A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.An understanding of safeguarding and child development.
