About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Primary Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a welcoming primary school in Northampton. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the curriculum, providing tailored assistance and encouragement to help every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education
Provide one-to-one or small group support, including for children with additional needs
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources
Monitor and report on pupils' progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A recognised TA qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a primary school setting
A patient, caring, and positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
