Qualified Social Worker, Out of Hours Team

Pay rate £35 per hour

Contract role

Vitalis is recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in an Out of Hours Team in Stockport.

The OOH service provides an effective and timely response to urgent notifications outside usual business hours, identifying children or adults who are vulnerable and at risk of harm. You will join a well-established, highly experienced team of Social Workers to perform this statutory social care function, supported by Team Manager and On Call Service Lead.

Activities include statutory social work functions such as Section 47 investigations, decision-making, safeguarding adult investigations, placement of children (including PACE beds) and adults in residential care, and completion of welfare visits and checks.
