Qualifications

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced, qualified Social Worker to join a busy Mental Health Team based in London.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

  • Provide professional advice and expertise to less experienced staff, including students and colleagues and to work with the complexity casework can produce. Establish, monitor and review care plans agreed with adults, carers and service providers underpinned by mental health and social care legislation, to identify measurable outcomes for adults and carers.
  • Co-ordinate, participate and where appropriate Chair case conferences and planning meetings including Safeguarding meetings.
  • Respond to new and changed legislation in respect of Adult Services and implement as directed.
  • Contribute to the control of team budgets by agreeing priorities with adults and carers, to ensure they have knowledge of their personal budget and Direct Payments to ensure quality and best outcomes.
  • Ensure the welfare benefit entitlement of individuals in the community, or in hospital, are identified and met within the requirements of legislation and available resources, including adults with ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ and Asylum Seekers.
