Qualified Social Worker, Learning Disability Team

Pay rate: £30.98 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for a Learning Disability Team in Leeds. The role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities in a strengths-based approach, promoting empowerment and independence. You should have good knowledge of the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. The work includes handling referrals, urgent matters, and long-term cases, often in collaboration with other agencies. Experience with cases under Court of Protection oversight is desirable.

The service is busy and challenging but supportive. Staff work in person at least two days a week for guidance and reflective discussions.
