Qualified Social Worker - Assessment

Location: Greater Manchester

Pay rate: £37 per hour

We are seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join our dedicated Children's Assessment Team. This role involves home working and time dedicated to working within the local authority.

In accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions. Applying your significant Social Work experience and excellent communication skills, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.

You will be committed to ensuring positive and sustainable outcomes of your interventions. Using best practices, you will strive to provide the best outcomes for children. Most importantly, you will have a passion for supporting children and their families to thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and to operate efficiently.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experienced in working with children and families, including vulnerable groups.
