The role requires QTS status and at least one year of experience, along with strong behaviour management skills. This role is term-time only, starting ASAP until July, with opportunities for long-term placements from September.
Five Education is seeking qualified teachers to join us in supply work in Bristol. Our agency specialises in SEND, and experience or an interest in teaching vulnerable children is desirable. Newly qualified teachers are welcome, but confidence in leading a class is essential. We work with various mainstream and special needs schools across the southwest and offer additional training, including Team Teach and Makaton. We offer rewarding and unique placements with excellent pay rates and the option of temp‑to‑perm roles. Most roles will start from September and be long‑term placements. However, if you are looking to start ASAP, we can try our best to help you with that.
If you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
Please note, the roles are term time only and start ASAP until July 22. It will then pick up again from September onwards.
Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer’s NI. Please note the pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
Vetting: Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff we employ to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks, TRA checks and will need to have a DBS; there will also be an interview.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as they are currently under‑represented at this level.
