Job summary

Custom Pharma Services is seeking a Qualified Person to certify and release finished products from its Brighton-based QA team. The role collaborates with the Head of Quality on key quality matters and maintains batch certification responsibilities.

You will certify licensed medicines and IMPs and drive GMP compliance across the business. You will review NCRs/LIRs, mentor trainee QPs, and keep CPD current while upholding Health & Safety policies and training records.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Person status and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality systems.
• Experience in pharmaceutical release and batch certification.

Responsibilities

• Act as Qualified Person, ensuring compliant certification and release of finished products.

What You'll Be Doing

• You’ll act as Qualified Person, ensuring compliant certification and release of finished products.
• Work with the Head of Quality on significant quality matters while maintaining collective responsibility for batch certification.
• Perform QP certification of licensed medicinal products and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
• Review and approve non-conformance reports (NCRs & LIRs).
• Provide GMP advice and guidance across the business.
• Mentor quality colleagues and sponsor Trainee QPs.
• Keep current with industry developments through CPD.
• Maintain training records and comply with Health and Safety policies.

Location

You will be based in Hove, Conway Street with a 3-minute walk to the train station and a busy part of the city. There will be some travel required to our second facility in Brighton.
