Job summary

Custom Pharma Services is seeking a Qualified Person to lead QA activities and ensure compliant release of medicinal products. Based in the UK, you will collaborate with the Head of Quality on major quality issues while upholding collective responsibility for batch certification.

You will review NCRs/LIRs, provide GMP guidance, mentor Trainee QPs, and stay current with industry developments through CPD. This permanent role offers a 37.5-hour week and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Qualified Person status in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and QA processes.
• Experience with release of finished products and IMPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform QP certification of licensed medicinal products and IMPs.
• Review and approve NCRs & LIRs.
• Provide GMP advice and guidance across the business.
• Mentor quality colleagues and sponsor Trainee QPs.
• Maintain training records and comply with Health and Safety policies.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll act as Qualified Person, ensuring compliant certification and release of finished products. Work with the Head of Quality on significant quality matters while maintaining collective responsibility for batch certification.

• Perform QP certification of licensed medicinal products and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs)
• Review and approve non-conformance reports (NCRs & LIRs)
• Provide GMP advice and guidance across the business
• Mentor quality colleagues and sponsor Trainee QPs
• Keep current with industry developments through CPD
• Maintain training records and comply with Health and Safety policies

Location

You will be based in Hove, Conway street with 3-minute walk to the train station and a busy part of the city.

There will be some travel required to our second facility in Brighton.
