ACCA Careers is assisting an established accountancy practice in Swansea to find an Accounts Senior or Part-Qualified Accountant to manage a varied general practice portfolio. You will work with owner-managed clients and bring strong technical accounting and tax skills, including cloud software usage.

The role welcomes fully qualified, part-qualified or qualified-by-experience candidates with at least two years in practice.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with year-end accounts for various structures (sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, limited companies).
• Familiar with VAT, corporation tax and self-assessment returns.
• Comfortable using IRIS or similar accounts and tax software.

Description

Provide general assistance to the accounting and finance team as needed. As an Accounts Senior / Part-Qualified Accountant, you will manage a varied portfolio of general practice work and develop strong relationships with owner-managed business clients.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies

Profile

The successful candidate is likely to have at least two years' experience within an accountancy practice and could be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.

You May Be

• ACA or A You may be: CCA qualified or part-qualified
• AAT qualified and looking to progress further
• Qualified by experience with strong general practice skills
• Experienced in accounts preparation for owner-managed businesses
• Comfortable preparing VAT, corporation tax and self-assessment returns
• Familiar with IRIS or similar accounts and tax software
• Experienced with Xero, QuickBooks and/or Sage
• Confident managing your own workload and meeting deadlines
• Comfortable supporting or coaching more junior colleagues
• Client focused, approachable and a strong communicator
• Keen to develop your technical skills and progress with a growing practice

Part-qualified candidates will receive support to complete their professional qualifications.
