Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Iver is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our caring team. You’ll help children learn through play, create a safe, stimulating environment, and support families with their child’s development.

Applicants must hold Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week at £13.25–£13.80 per hour, with generous childcare perks and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records for parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, guiding apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
